My father was a Wykes however my parents werent married. He is a descendent of the Wykes from Chilvers Coton who moved to the Manchester area in the 1880s.Last year i paid my respects to Frank Wykes killed in WWI he served in the Warwickshire Regt and his name is listed on the Thiepval memorial.More research to be done an excellent website

Theophilus Wykes was our Great Great Grandfather and we think his Son Arthur Edwin was our Great Grandfather. Arthur's Son, also called Arthur, lived in Long Buckby, Northamptonshire. Would be pleased to hear from any relations.

An excellent site! I think that John Wykes born 1604/5 married Bridget Walpole first, of Haselbeech; I have two daughters by this marriage

I am hoping to conyact any family of David and Buelah Wykes of Wellington NSW circa 1945 and thereafter. My Father Vernon Edward Foley was fostered by them following time at Fairbridge Farm. Known daughter Heather Gibbons nee Wykes and son Bruce Wykes. My Dad adored his foster family, any help greatly appreciated.
