hey - great website. looking for information on my great-grandfather Brayton Wicks. I know he resided in Jefferson County New York and was a dairy farmer much like everyone in the family had been. I'm the first generation not to be a dairy farmer. Have also been told the name is of German descent - guess not! Guess i'm more English then I had originally been taught. Please let me know where if you can help out. Thanks, Jeff

You might like to post something bout me great uncle, started something of an oil company here in the states some years back, under the name WIX. His name was of course spelled Wicks, but the company is called Wix Filters. One of the bigger ones. Cheers. www.wixfilters.com

I found this website looking for my grandmother Jeanette Weeks Garvan. My mother was her daughter Mary Garvan...I see that your research has Jeanette Weeks marrying Percy Garvan..that is incorrect...she married William Garvan...Percy was his brother and he was married to a woman named Lillian.

Does anyone know how I reach Janice Bernath? She shows an Obadiah Weekes m Mary Tooker. My line has a Jedediah Weeks m Mary Tooker Smithtown, NY. The only other information I have for Jedediah is he was called "Fighting Jed of Babylon". His birth date should have been around the Am Rev. Bunny
