Reading through some more pages I stumbled on Tammy Mitchener(Wykes) whom I definitely AM related to. Your Dad and my Dad (Charles Robert)who passed away around 1985 were brothers. You also had an Aunt Betty who passed away a # of years ago. She had a son named Kimberly (whom my daughter is named after)and a daughter, Delli. Another child Linda, passed away in a car accident when she was just in her teens. They lived in Alaska at one time but I have never been able to track them down. I think the family name was Wilson. Another Uncle, Jack passed away about 35 years ago in Prince Albert, Sk Of his 4 boys 3 are alive and well. So, if this is interesting to you and you'd like to coorespond send an email. I'd love to make contact.

Visited Northampton/Spratton area in May and met my English "cousins" for the first time (I am from the U.S.A.) and walked around Spratton and of course the cemetery. Spratton is "the quaint English village"; I still have many Wykes "cousins" living there that I did not get to meet. Really enjoyed seeing where my maternal side of the family came from. Your web site has really been helpful in more ways than you can imagine!

Would the person who was looking for the family of Humphrey Wyke and Ellen Rylands, of Gateacre, Liverpool like to contact me? Humphrey and Ellen were my great-grandparents and I may have information that can help you in your research. Other family names in my ancestry are Lyddieth and Rylands. Cheers Lynda

I went to Creaton, Northmapton, UK, while in the UK in July 2008. As my ancestor Henry Thompson Wykes was born there (his parents Thomas and Charlotte). It a lovely little village. I'm still working on my family tree. This web site is one of the best.
