|I am a Wykes, born in Evesham, Worcs, U.K. My father was Charles Raymond, born in Armagh, 1922. His father was George Bernard, also from County Armagh. He was at Gallipoli, so his birthdate must be before 1900. As far as I can tell, the Armagh Wykes's were a Protestant farming and horserearing family from the Pointz Pass area. I am not aware of any other members of the family, but vaugely recall that my father had a sister. We moved to Hampshire U.K. in 1961, but i lost touch with my father in 1968. If there are any related Wykes's out there I would be glad to hear from you.

I've traced my lineage to Richard Atweecke of Staines, Middlesex, England through his son Robert Wickes of Staines, Middlesex, England through his son William Sr. that came here and settled in Falmouth Mass... If anyone has information on this line, I would love to hear it. Especially any information on lineage earlier than Richard Atweecke... Caroline Weeks Ray

I was wondering if your relation Mary Haggaday may be related to my Gt Gt Grandmother Jane Haggaday who married Thomas Mobbs 26th May 1836 in Northampton St Giles. I cannot find anything on her family at the moment so I am trying to clutch at straws! Regards Ann (nee Mobbs)

Hello, Thanks for a brilliant website on the Wykes family. I am linked through Hannah Wykes (b.1828 Spratton). She married George Kettle in 1856. Their children were nearly all named Wykes Kettle. Fascinating to find out more about the Wykes branch of my family. Thanks again for sharing your hard work, Jane
