This is a great site! I am seeking records of the Wykes-Finch ancestry back into the middle to late 1500's. Does anyone have any knowledge of the connection? The history and research on this site is extradorinary. Thank you!

Greetings from Pennsylvania, USA. I have been searching a long time for some missing branches (and trunks) in the family tree. A great site for us to find out about ourselves. Tom

G'day - have just got back into my research after a very long break and know that I am going to find this site a gold mine. I am a descendant of James Weekes b.1799 of Peasmarsh Sussex and Sarah King b.1801 of Tenterden,Kent. They migrated to Australia in 1839 on the ships "Juliana" then "Morayshire" and settled in Parramatta Sydney. They had four children James, Thomas, John George and Sarah Jane. All six survived the wreck of the Juliana on their way to Australia. I'm looking for any info on James' father who is listed as Thomas Weeks/Weekes of Boreham Sussex circa mid 1700s. Cheers
