Can anyone help me? I would like more information on Albert Catt (1878) and Amy Wickes (c1878) married in Ramsgate, Kent. I believe her mother was a Forsythe.

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the entire "Wykes" site..... My Thomas WICKS/WEEKS who came to Canada 1836/39 from England was born abt 1832.(married Harriet Bowin) .... Prior to WICKS on 1871 Census, Victoria County,Ont. were recorded 1861 in Hope, Durham County, Ont. as WEEKS. Seeking earlier info & contacts.

Very interested in your site. A lot of the stuff you have I have come across independently through my father, Richard Anthony Weeks, who was very interested in the family history and has left a few old documents relating to this. He died last year aged 84. He was mentioned a few weeks ago in The Times obituary of Colonel Bill Bowen which I will e-mail you as an attachment in a separate e-mail. It is quite an good WW2 story so you might be interested. Tony Weeks, London UK

Thank You for an interesting site which I have only just discovered. My family come from Bermondsey, but I can't now trace back any further than my Grandfather William Alfred Wickes. He had an older brother, Alfred William Wickes. Their father who we think was called William or Alfred dies shortly after the end of WWI from the effects of gassing in the trenches. He was married to Alice (maiden name unknown) They lived in the Long Lane area London SE1. Any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. Keep Up the good work. Regards Steve Wickes
