Hope the Web Site will help in my search for William Rogers of Stratford-Upon-Avon who seems to have been friends with the Wykes (Wicks) family in the 1630s.

My GGGGrandfather was James Michael Weeks born October 22, 1768 in Virginia (per family history collected by Jesse Oscar Weeks). He married Isabelle Sharp. They lived in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi. My GGrandfather Thomas Jackson Weeks returned to Alabama where he married Louisa Jane Sims on January 17,1858 in Blount County. Would like to hear from anyone related through the Weeks or Sims families. Louisa Jane's father was Valentine Earl Sims and her mother Elizabeth Young.

Great Web Site. Keep up the excellent work. My mother was Irene Wicks from Long Island, NY. My gFather was William Wicks, married to Ruth Conklin and my ggFather was John Augusta Wicks, married to Annie Elizabeth Kerns? all of Long Island. First child Ruth was born April 02, 1900. Have the names of all the children, some b & d dates and marriages, not much else. They were farmers on the Island. Have a newspaper obit for John A. Wicks. John had 10 children, 50 gchildren and 17 ggchildren. With names of all the children. Hard to do research from Alaska, wish I was back on Long Island. If anyone needs any information on the above please contact me.

Hi. Have just started on my family tree and found this site while exploring the net, very impressed! My ggfathers name was Arthur Wykes married to Martha Busby who lived in Handsworth, Birmingham. They had six children including my gfather Joseph Wykes who married Nellie Sutton. They had three sons including my father Patrick Wykes. Would be great to hear from anyone related, or anyone that knows more about the family. Catch ya later.

Very nice site. I'll be back to read it properly when I have more time, especially the Dublin entries as that's where I was born.
