Greetings from Reading, PA, US. Great site. I have been told that my branch is from Germany, but I don't know of anyone who has attempted to research. I believe you have given me the bug to start doing so. Thanks.

Website found by my son Tom, fasinating to learn that there are many Wykes'around the world. I believe that my Great grandfather - called William Mackman Wykes - was from Middle Temple in London in the late 1700's, believed to work for the Admiralty. Does any one have more information? I would love to hear from you. Thank you

This is a really interesting site. I had never connected Weekes to other than Weeks. My branch of the family emigrated to the US (near Rochester NY) from Hamilton, Canada probably in the late 1800's. Now most of us are down south in Florida or elsewhere scattered. I am in Easley, SC.
